Lars Thiel studied law at the 'Freie Universität' in Berlin and took up his legal clerkship in the district of the Berlin court of appeal. In October 2016, he joined Leinemann Partner Berlin as a lawyer.Lars Thiel's practice focuses on project-related advice to investors, investment companies and project developers on the construction or revitalisation of retail/office properties as well as on construction-related advice and litigation in building construction and infrastructure works. His advisory expertise is rounded off with advice on public procurement law and public building law.
Since 2019, Lars Thiel has been a lecturer in private construction law at the 'Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR)'. He is also a regular speaker at in-house seminars in the construction and real estate industry.
Lars Thiel is a member of the Berlin bar association.
