Leinemann-FOUNDATION for Education and Art

Established in Hamburg in 2008, our non-profit private foundation aims to promote art and culture, particularly the fine arts, as well as the preservation of historical books, book collections and libraries. In the education sector, the foundation is active in higher education and promotes civil engineering, construction and public procurement law.

The foundation’s assets include a considerable amount of capital, as well as artworks by renowned contemporary artists and a collection of historical books. Professor Dr Ralf Leinemann is Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The book Im Bau – die Sammlung Leinemann (Kerber Verlag, €40), edited by Roland Nachtigäller and published in summer 2017, provides an overview of the Leinemann Foundation’s art collection. Most of the artworks are displayed in the Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich, where they can be viewed. (Registration at stiftung@leinemann-stiftung.de.)

Further information on the foundation’s activities can be found on its own website.
