Jonas Deppenkemper graduated in Law at the University of Münster (Westphalia) where his main focus was on questions of how to shape the law and reconciliate (out-of-court) disputes.Immediately after completing his studies, Jonas Deppenkemper worked as a legal trainee at the Higher Regional Court in the district of Hamm (Westphalia), which included an engagement at an international commercial law firm based in Singapore specialized in the Asian market and which supported international investors in matters concerning access to the Southeast Asian markets. In this role, his work was mainly focused on company start-ups and tax considerations, as well as direct negotiations with the Singaporean authorities.
In 2015, Jonas Deppenkemper was admitted to the bar and began his professional career at a law firm in Berlin specializing in public procurement law. His work encompassed the support of numerous (pan-European) award decisions, with a focus on the award of engineering services on behalf of sectoral contracting entities. Apart from providing comprehensive advice on public procurement contracts and the drafting thereof, his activities also included conducting in-house client training and assisting with various public procurement law publications.
In the autumn of 2016, Jonas Deppenkemper moved to the Frankfurt office of Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte. Since then, his work has been focused on public procurement and private construction law.
Jonas Deppenkemper is a member of the Bar Association in Frankfurt am Main.
