Katharina Bähren studied law at the University of Münster and successfully passed the First State Examination in Law. After working as a research assistant in a medium-sized commercial law firm, she completed her legal clerkship at the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court in the district of Flensburg. During her legal clerkship, Katharina Bähren worked in the construction law department of a city and in a medium-sized law firm specialising in construction and public procurement law. In November 2023, she successfully passed the second state examination in law. She then worked in a renowned major international law firm.Katharina Bähren joined the advisory team in August 2024. She specializes in public procurement and construction law, primarily advising public clients. She accompanies various construction and procurement procedures in the hospital and transportation sectors as part of the project team. A particular focus is on project-related advice, including the preparation of contract awards, drafting of planning contracts and legal support during the planning and construction phases. Katharina Bähren also represents her clients in court and before public procurement tribunals. She also writes for specialist journals, such as the public procurement law newsletter "Behörden Spiegel."
Katharina Bähren is a member of the Deutscher Juristinnenbund e.V. (djb), the Hamburgischer Anwaltverein e.V., the Freunde der Kunsthalle e.V. and the Hanseatische Rechtsanwaltskammer Hamburg.
