Mr. Thiel studied law at the 'Freie Universität' in Berlin. Immediately after passing the first state examination 2014, Mr. Thiel took up his legal clerkship in the district of the Berlin court of appeal. Late in the summer of 2016, he successfully concluded the legal clerkship with the second state examination.Mr. Thiel started working for the Leinemann Partner during his legal clerkship and in October 2016 as a lawyer joined the Berlin team of our law firm.
He is specialised in the provision of legal advice for and during construction projects, especially in the areas of structural engineering and infrastructure works. Furthermore, Mr. Thiel offers legal advice to project developers for retail measures. His range of consultation services also includes legal advice for procurement law and public construction law.
In 2018, Mr. Thiel successfully concluded the theoretical part of his training to become a specialist lawyer for architectural and construction law. He has participated in a number of book projects and articles.
Mr. Thiel is a member of the Berlin bar association.
