Leopold Martens studied law at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Before and after completing his First State Examination, he gained initial legal experience at several commercial law firms.
He completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main, with placements that included the Federal Railway Authority in the field of planning and environmental law, as well as a renowned international consulting firm focusing on public commercial law and energy law.
In 2023, Leopold Martens passed the Second State Examination and subsequently worked as a lawyer at a commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main, specializing in public commercial law, public procurement law, and planning and environmental law.
Since July 2025, he has been strengthening the team of Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte at the Berlin office, advising clients primarily on public procurement law and related areas of public law.
