VITA
Merle Semmelmann studied law at the University of Osnabrück and spent a semester abroad at the University of Tartu in Estonia. After passing her First State Examination, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Osnabrück.She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Oldenburg, with placements including the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in the field of climate and energy, a mid-sized law firm in Osnabrück, and an international NGO. In June 2025, she successfully passed her Second State Examination.
Since February 2026, Merle Semmelmann has been working as an attorney at Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte. Her practice focuses on private construction and architectural law as well as real estate law.
Alongside her professional work, she is completing her doctoral dissertation.
Merle Semmelmann is a member of the Hanseatic Bar Association Hamburg.
