VITAAnush Rienau studied law in Hamburg. His career, specialising in construction and public procurement law, began at the German Construction Industry Association in Bonn, followed by work as an in-house lawyer at Philipp-Holzmann AG, Frankfurt. He was admitted to the bar in 1995, established the Construction Law department in Hamburg for a North German law firm and joined Leinemann Partner in Hamburg in early 2007.
As a partner of the law firm, he predominantly advises medium-sized construction companies and construction groups nationwide on all aspects of construction law, including providing accompanying legal advice on ongoing projects. Where an out-of-court settlement is not possible, Mr Rienau conducts litigation before courts and arbitral tribunals on behalf of his clients.
Since its introduction into anti-trust law, another area of his focus is on advising in public procurement procedures, including the implementation of review procedures throughout Germany. Finally, he also advises architects and engineers in the area of architectural law. In the still young area of offshore wind farm construction, Anush Rienau already has a wealth of experience thanks to his involvement in the projects Sandbank 24 / Dan Tysk / Global Tech I / Borkum West II / Baltic 2 and Riffgat.
Anush Rienau’s activities also include conducting in-house training courses, seminars and specialist training courses. Anush Rienau is a member of the Hanseatic Bar Association in Hamburg and in the Forum Vergabe e.V.
