Dr. Ralf Averhaus studied law in Bochum and Dundee/Scotland. It was also in Bochum that he was awarded his doctorate in public business law .Following his legal traineeship, which he completed in Halle/Saale, and an engagement at a law firm in Leipzig aligned to the needs of the construction and real estate law sectors, Dr. Averhaus went on to join Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte in Berlin in the autumn of 2001.
His activities in the private construction and architecture law fields not only focus on conducting construction lawsuits before the state and arbitration courts but also on providing ongoing advisory services to a range of construction projects. Alongside his work as a lawyer, Dr. Averhaus is also a co-author of various reference books on the topic of private construction and architecture law. In addition, he publishes articles in specialist journals and is also regularly engaged as a speaker. The Handelsblatt named him one of the best lawyers in Germany in the field of "real estate Business law" in 2020 and 2021.
Dr. Averhaus is a specialist in construction and architecture law and member of the Bar Association in Berlin.
